How a wireless link works
A wireless link is a pair of small antennas. One goes on your house and one on the other building, pointed at each other. Together they carry your internet across the gap, like a cable you can't see. There's no trench to dig and no cable to bury.
What it needs
The two antennas generally need a clear line between them. Trees, hills and other buildings can get in the way. At the free consultation, we look at your property and plan where the antennas should go.
Wi-Fi and cameras in the building
Once the internet reaches the building, we can set up Wi-Fi inside, and outside around the yard if you need it. It's also a good way to connect security cameras on a barn or shop, so you can check on things from your phone.
Out where cable doesn't reach?
If the whole property has poor internet, Starlink may be the answer. We can install Starlink at the house and beam the connection out to your other buildings.

Do you have to dig a trench to get internet to my barn?
Usually not. We can beam your internet from the house to a garage, barn or shop with a wireless link. It's a pair of small antennas, one on each building, pointed at each other. There's no digging or trenching. At the free consultation, we check your property and plan where they go.
What if there are trees between the buildings?
Wireless links generally need a clear line between the two antennas, and trees or other buildings can get in the way. Sometimes mounting higher, or in a different spot, solves it. We check at the free consultation and give you a straight answer, and a written quote, before any work starts.
Can I put cameras in the barn once it has internet?
Yes. Once the wireless link brings internet to the building, cameras there connect just like they would at the house. We can install cameras you can watch on your phone, including options that record at home with no monthly fee. We'll plan it all at your free consultation.
Will the building get Wi-Fi, or just a connection?
Both, if you want. The wireless link carries your internet to the building. Then we set up Wi-Fi inside, and outside around the yard if you need it. You can also plug wired devices in out there. We'll set up the apps on your phone and walk you through everything.
